Overview

This role is responsible for overseeing financial planning, corporate analysis, and regulatory reporting frameworks. It serves as a critical link between operational metrics and consolidated corporate performance by translating complex operational data into actionable financial models that guide strategic resource allocation.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain complex financial forecasting models to project revenue, operating expenses, and cash flow under various growth scenarios
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly variance analyses comparing actual results to budget and forecast, identifying risks and opportunities for department heads
  • Support the preparation of SEC-aligned financial statements, disclosures, and schedules in compliance with US GAAP guidelines
  • Collaborate with internal and external audit teams to document, test, and maintain robust SOX compliance controls across key business cycles
  • Develop and track operational and financial KPIs, creating automated dashboards in Tableau or Looker to streamline executive reporting
  • Analyze departmental spend requests against approved budgets and provide quantitative recommendations for optimization

Requirements

  • 3-6 years of experience in corporate finance, investment banking, or public accounting (Big 4 experience preferred)
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP, SOX internal controls, and SEC reporting requirements
  • Advanced Excel skills with a proven ability to build dynamic, error-free financial and operational models
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field
  • Experience working with SQL, ERP systems (such as NetSuite or SAP), and modern BI tools (such as Looker or Tableau)

Preferred Qualifications

  • CPA, CFA, or active progress toward licensure
  • Previous experience in a fast-growing technology sector
