Financial Analyst

Overview

This role is for a Financial Analyst (Associate) in a remote work arrangement across the United States. The position supports teams interpreting spending, revenue, and performance trends through financial reporting, budgeting assistance, and variance analysis.

Responsibilities

• Identify missing inputs and raise questions about unusual figures.
• Summarize cost and revenue trends using approved financial data.
• Coordinate reporting inputs and clarify deadlines with stakeholders.
• Check financial schedules for completeness and arithmetic accuracy.
• Present analysis findings in plain language to other team members.
• Compare actual results with budgets and prior-period figures.
• Support regular budgeting and forecast updates using supplied assumptions.

Qualifications

• Comfort using Excel formulas, charts, and basic spreadsheet analysis.
• Willingness to learn budgeting and reporting systems.
• Experience with reconciliations or financial reports is helpful.
• Ability to explain simple financial findings clearly.
• Strong judgment when handling confidential financial information.
