Overview
This role supports the local management team with business and financial analysis activities. Responsibilities include internal financial reporting and analysis, income and debt management support, submitting invoices for Accounts Payable, and accurately billing clients for services rendered.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to accurate and timely preparation of internal financial reporting and analysis
- Analyze records of present and past operations, trends and costs, estimated and realized revenues, administrative commitments, and obligations incurred to project future revenues and expenses
- Report actual results and analyze performance versus plan
- Assist operations with cost budgets, quarterly forecasts, and other financial planning activities
- Publish periodic financial reports (including accounts payable, freight and consumable metrics) to provide department owners and leadership visibility to financial results
- Perform analytical reviews of financial information to identify trends and opportunities
- Recommend improvements to drive cost efficiencies while balancing operational needs and capabilities
- Produce cost quotes, strategic business cases, risk assessments, and other ad-hoc analysis in support of the business
- Participate in special projects as required, including process improvement and financial tools development and implementation
- Support management of financial process improvements, Key Performance Indicators, and tracking of strategic initiatives
- Support internal and external financial and system audits
- Plan, organize, and manage your own workload to ensure timely and accurate monthly financial reporting
- Ensure swift payment of invoices
- Collect and confirm accuracy of all charges and expenses for files to be billed
- Manage Accounts Payable process
- Coordinate purchasing and track vendor invoices through the system, including associated revenue accruals
- Perform month-end close responsibilities, including:
- Journal entries
- Corporate submissions
- Expense management
- Budgetary support for cost centers
- Ad-hoc analysis
- Prepare month-end journal entries focused on cost accruals
- Complete the monthly Client Profitability Model
- Order and maintain inventory of office supplies
- Attend meetings as required; document and distribute meeting minutes
- Handle sensitive and confidential information in a professional, mature, discreet, and secure manner
- Create and disseminate communications and reports
- Create or assist with the design and development of presentations
- Communicate effectively with employees, customers, suppliers, and others on behalf of site management
- Schedule and meet with vendors to help ensure competitive pricing is maintained
- Work with the Operations team to develop budgets and forecasts for financial performance
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting, FP&A, or finance experience
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills required (Pivot Tables, Formulas, VLOOKUP functions)
- Strong math skills with focused attention to detail
- Ability to partner with associates at all levels of the organization
- Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, and influencing skills
- Highly motivated with strong analytical skills, intellectual curiosity, and proven leadership skills
- Ability to work well in a dynamic environment; think creatively; recommend and implement process improvements; work independently; handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Language skills: English (reading, writing, verbal)
- Physical requirements (while performing duties):
- Uses hands to finger, handle, or feel objects/tools/controls; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, or crouch; talk or hear
- Uses computer and telephone equipment
- Specific vision requirements include close vision and distance vision
- Must be able to travel by plane and automobile

Compensation & Benefits
- Expected base pay range: $70,000.00 – $90,000.00 Annually
- Actual compensation determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location in accordance with applicable laws and company policy
