Financial Analyst

Overview

The organization is seeking a Financial Analyst to support routine analysis and reconciliations. This is a full-time role with a remote work arrangement within the United States. The position focuses on financial reporting, budgeting support, and variance analysis. You will collaborate remotely, document your work, and ask questions when information is unclear.

Responsibilities

• Review financial schedules for completeness and arithmetic accuracy.
• Summarize analysis findings in plain language for other team members.
• Compare actual results with budgets and prior-period figures.
• Support regular budgeting and forecast updates using provided assumptions.
• Help prepare monthly reports with clearly labeled tables and charts.
• Maintain working files and document sources used for calculations.
• Assist with preparation of forecast scenarios under team guidance.

Requirements

• Ability to ask questions when financial assumptions are unclear.
• Organized approach to deadlines and document management.
• Comfortable working remotely with finance and operations colleagues.
• Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
