Overview

This is a fully remote Financial Analyst role with a finance organization that provides financial support and analysis to its divisions. The position supports clear, accurate financial insights and forecasts to enable decision-making and improve operational efficiency across business units.

Responsibilities

Build relationships and provide excellent customer service to the business unit
Complete month-end and quarter-end close processes, including results analysis, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and reporting for senior management
Track and analyze deferred maintenance, hardware, software, and professional services revenue streams
Assist with maintaining an accurate financial forecast for the business unit
Prepare audit requests and respond to queries during quarterly reviews and interim and year-end audits
Lead or support special ad hoc projects impacting various stakeholders within the organization

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
Effective communication skills with experience engaging all levels of management
Solution-focused mindset with a desire to improve processes
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
Professional financial designation or pursuit of one preferred
Familiarity with IFRS reporting, project accounting, and/or software revenue recognition preferred
Positive attitude and commitment to continuous learning
Ability to manage expectations of multiple stakeholders

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $48,000 to $55,000 per year
Eligibility for bonus or merit programs
Final compensation will be based on experience, skills, market conditions, and internal equity
