Financial Analyst (Remote)

Overview

This remote Financial Analyst role offers hourly compensation ranging from $45 to $110. The position involves working with budgets, forecasts, and financial advisory services tailored to various client needs.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain budgets, forecasts, and perform variance analysis
• Design financial models for scenario planning, fundraising, or mergers and acquisitions
• Provide advice on retirement, investment, estate, or tax planning in advisory engagements
• Collaborate with executives to translate financial data into actionable business decisions
• Present financial findings through dashboards, presentations, and client reviews
• Define and monitor key financial metrics and KPIs

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), investment banking, consulting, or personal finance advisory
• Expert-level proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for financial modeling
• Strong understanding of financial statements, key metrics, and forecasting methodologies
• Effective communication skills with non-finance stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certifications such as CFA, CFP, MBA, or CPA
• Experience with SaaS metrics including ARR, CAC, LTV, and NRR
• Familiarity with business intelligence tools like Looker, Tableau, or Power BI, and SQL
• Knowledge of product analytics platforms such as Mixpanel or Amplitude
• Credentials in fiduciary, tax, or estate planning
