Financial Analyst (Remote)

Overview

This role is for a Financial Analyst with experience in FP&A, investment banking, consulting, or personal finance advisory. The position is fully remote and offers flexible contract or full-time opportunities. Compensation ranges from $45 to $110 per hour depending on experience and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain budgets, forecasts, and perform variance analysis.
• Design financial models for scenario planning, fundraising, or mergers and acquisitions.
• Provide advisory services on retirement, investment, estate, or tax planning.
• Collaborate with executives to translate financial data into actionable business decisions.
• Present financial findings through dashboards, presentations, and client reviews.
• Define and monitor key financial metrics and KPIs.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in FP&A, investment banking, consulting, or personal finance advisory.
• Expert-level proficiency in financial modeling using Excel or Google Sheets.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, key metrics, and forecasting techniques.
• Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certifications such as CFA, CFP, MBA, or CPA.
• Experience with SaaS financial metrics including ARR, CAC, LTV, and NRR.
• Familiarity with business intelligence tools like Looker, Tableau, or Power BI, and SQL.
• Knowledge of product analytics platforms such as Mixpanel or Amplitude.
• Credentials in fiduciary, tax, or estate planning.
