Overview

A global technology company specializing in financial management solutions is seeking a Staff Financial Analyst to join their Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team. This role is critical in shaping financial strategies and supporting business success through data-driven insights and financial analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed financial forecasts and analyze performance metrics.
  • Prepare presentations and reports for executive leadership, including the CEO, CFO, and Board of Directors.
  • Oversee monthly close reporting, forecasting, and target setting processes.
  • Lead headcount forecasting, guidance setting, and preparation of Board materials.
  • Identify trends and provide actionable recommendations to drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement financial and operational processes.
  • Serve as a trusted partner to senior leadership by providing financial insights that influence strategic decisions.
  • Deliver clear and compelling presentations translating complex financial data into understandable narratives.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives, organizational change, and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in FP&A or related fields such as investment banking, private equity, venture capital, management consulting, or analytics.
  • Strong foundation in financial theory and advanced Excel modeling skills.
  • Experience with financial systems such as Hyperion Essbase.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to craft compelling narratives and presentations for executive audiences.
  • Demonstrated experience leading strategic initiatives or organizational change projects is highly desirable.
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, or a related discipline is required.
  • MBA or CFA designation is a plus.
  • Self-motivated with strong problem-solving capabilities and ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary range: $154,000 to $208,500, depending on experience and location.
