A company operating in the data and artificial intelligence industry is seeking a Financial Analyst to join their Sales Finance team. The organization provides a platform that unifies and democratizes data, analytics, and AI, serving over 10,000 organizations globally, including more than half of the Fortune 500. This role supports long-term growth by delivering financial analysis and improving business visibility.
Responsibilities
- Analyze company performance against core KPIs to identify risks and opportunities
- Build detailed financial models to support recommendations
- Monitor daily usage trends across platforms, products, and business units
- Communicate financial insights to executive leadership
- Track bookings pipeline and forecast impacts on financial performance
- Develop an in-depth understanding of the business model to enhance forecasts
- Collaborate with sales strategy and operations teams to advise finance leadership
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in corporate finance, management consulting, or investment banking; experience in the software industry is a plus
- Proficient in independently building financial models and preparing recommendations
- Solid knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Strong analytical, organizational, and collaborative skills
- Experience supporting fast-paced, high-growth business environments
- Ability to independently solve problems and prioritize objectives
- Advanced skills in Excel or Google Sheets, including managing complex spreadsheets and large datasets
- Experience with SQL or willingness to learn
Compensation & Benefits
- Zone 1 Pay Range: $104,100—$143,100 USD
- Zone 2 Pay Range: $93,700—$128,800 USD
- Compensation packages vary based on candidate qualifications, experience, certifications, and location
- Eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and additional benefits
