In this position, you will support budgeting, expense analysis, and financial reporting. Your work helps colleagues use accurate financial schedules and review clear explanations of results when planning next steps.

Forecasts rely on stated assumptions—your role helps keep those assumptions visible and distinguish projected figures from actual results.

Responsibilities

  • Update budget and forecast worksheets using documented assumptions.
  • Prepare actual-versus-budget comparisons and explain material differences in revenue or spending.
  • Assist with recurring financial reports, including checking formulas and supporting schedules.
  • Trace unusual figures back to supporting records and raise unresolved differences for review.
  • Record assumptions and maintain organized working files so calculations can be reviewed.
  • Gather figures from approved records and review them for missing information or inconsistencies.

Qualifications

  • Foundational knowledge of accounting concepts and the relationship between income statements, balance sheets, and cash-flow statements.
  • Familiarity with Excel formulas, lookup functions, and pivot tables.
  • Ability to work carefully with numerical information and explain calculations.
  • Good organization, written communication, and attention to deadlines.
  • Understanding of the importance of handling financial information confidentially.

Relevant study in finance, accounting, economics, or a related subject is helpful. Academic budgeting and financial modeling projects can demonstrate readiness.

Compensation & Benefits
