Financial Analyst

Overview

An AI-native organization founded by alumni from leading tech companies is seeking a Financial Analyst to support its data-driven approach to product and business decisions. The team processes thousands of job listings daily and tracks client outcomes to inform strategy.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain financial models tracking revenue, costs, and unit economics across products and segments
• Analyze client acquisition costs, lifetime value, and churn to guide pricing and growth decisions
• Prepare leadership reports with clear insights beyond raw data
• Support annual planning, budgeting, and quarterly forecasting
• Identify cost inefficiencies and model operational changes before implementation

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in financial analysis or FP&A
• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets with ability to create clean, auditable models
• Strong understanding of unit economics and ability to communicate concepts to non-finance stakeholders
• Detail-oriented while maintaining a strategic perspective
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a startup or fast-growing technology company
• Familiarity with SaaS metrics such as ARR, MRR, CAC, LTV, and payback period
• Exposure to SQL for data extraction and validation
