Overview
This role focuses on providing guidance and assistance to account teams and clients by utilizing financial decision-making tools. The position involves representing the Financial Benefits Consulting team regarding core services.
Responsibilities
- Collect required data and materials for project completion under the direction and supervision of team leaders.
- Analyze data from carriers related to clients and provide recommendations to account management teams or clients to effectively negotiate rates and funding levels.
- Prepare, analyze, and consult on various client deliverables as defined by the Financial Benefits Consulting team's scope of services.
- Evaluate analyses critically to ensure they make sense beyond just the numbers.
- Maintain workflow tracking applications or logs according to management and departmental guidelines.
- Independently review contract documents such as SPDs, administrative agreements, claim exclusions, and limitations to determine their impact on financial reports.
- Participate actively in the peer review process following departmental guidelines.
- Perform special assignments as directed by management.
- Coordinate with carriers' underwriting and report teams to manage planning, timelines, and formatting related to data needed for reports and projects.
- Assist with collecting data and preparing reports to demonstrate financial status for identified clients in conjunction with the Financial Benefits Consulting and Client Teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- No prior related experience required.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications and Microsoft Office.
