Overview
This role involves submitting existing financial models you have built and own the rights to share. The organization is seeking finance professionals based in Singapore to provide real, working Excel workbooks (.xlsx) that include multiple interconnected tabs and a clear assumptions structure. These should be models you have actually used in your work, not newly created files, downloaded templates, or reconstructed models.
The position is fully remote and asynchronous, with payment made per accepted submission. You can submit one or multiple workbooks on a flexible schedule.
Responsibilities
- Identify completed financial models you own and have legal rights to share
- Ensure each workbook meets structural requirements: at least 3 named tabs, cross-sheet formula linkage, and a dedicated Assumptions or Inputs tab
- Remove volatile Excel functions (e.g., RAND, RANDBETWEEN, NOW, TODAY), external links, and circular references
- Scrub all confidential information, client names, and personally identifiable information (PII) before submission
- Upload the .xlsx file along with a brief description of the model type
- Respond to quality assurance feedback and resubmit corrected files when necessary
Requirements
- Professional experience in finance with real working models such as DCF, 3-statement, LBO, comps, budgeting and forecasting, portfolio analysis, or unit economics
- Proficiency in Excel with multi-tab structures, interconnected formulas, and a clear assumptions layer
- Clear intellectual property rights to share the submitted models (personal work, original models, or files with explicit permission)
- Detail-oriented and self-directed, capable of reviewing, scrubbing, and submitting work independently
Preferred Qualifications
- Models featuring full 3-statement integration (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- DCF or LBO models with clear driver-to-output traceability
- Workbooks with high formula density and minimal hard-coding outside the Assumptions tab
- Supporting tabs such as data dictionaries, cover sheets, or charts
- Multiple distinct workbooks across different model types
- Background in investment banking, private equity, wealth management, or corporate finance within APAC markets
Compensation & Benefits
- Paid per accepted submission with a flat rate
- No limit on the number of workbooks you can contribute
- Fully remote and asynchronous work schedule
- Fast quality assurance turnaround, typically within a few business days
- Opportunity to resubmit corrected files if initial submission has fixable issues
Location
- Singapore-based finance professionals
- Fully remote work arrangement
