This role involves supporting a customer project focused on accounting operations, financial reporting, and ERP systems. The work includes evaluating and improving AI-generated outputs and training data by applying accounting judgment and financial systems expertise.

Responsibilities
- Evaluate AI-generated accounting outputs for accuracy, calculations, journal entries, and accounting treatments.
- Review and annotate financial statements, reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close workpapers.
- Identify accounting errors, misstatements, and inconsistencies, and provide appropriate corrections with clear rationale.
- Assess accounting workflows and financial systems logic across platforms such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, Xero, and Dynamics 365.
- Apply written rubrics to evaluate, rank, and grade AI-generated responses.
- Create realistic accounting scenarios, examples, and reference answers for AI training.
- Provide clear, actionable feedback to improve model performance and accounting accuracy.
- Support financial processes from transaction recording through month-end close and financial reporting.

- Prior experience in AI training or human-data work is required. Simply using AI features within accounting software does not qualify.

Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in financial accounting, corporate accounting, audit, bookkeeping, financial reporting, management accounting, cost accounting, or FP&A with substantial accounting responsibilities.
- Proven experience preparing or reviewing journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.
- Hands-on experience with NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, Xero, Sage Intacct, Dynamics 365, Workday, or comparable financial systems.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with tools such as BlackLine, Bill.com, Ramp, Brex, Stripe, Avalara, Anaplan, Tableau, or Power BI is a plus.
- Prior paid experience in AI training, data annotation, labeling, RLHF, AI response evaluation, model evaluation, or rubric-based grading is required.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills (B2 level or above).
- Ability to work independently and meet project quality standards and deadlines.
