Overview
An organization is seeking an FP&A Analyst to support their Corporate Headquarters in Columbia, MO. This is a fully remote position with a salary range of $56,000 to $83,000, with final compensation dependent on experience and location.
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing the annual budget, periodic forecasts, long-term financial projections, and scenario analyses
- Analyze financial performance by comparing actual results to budgets and forecasts; conduct variance analysis to identify trends and deviations
- Prepare periodic financial reports and develop and maintain financial dashboards and key performance indicators
- Gather financial and operational data ensuring accuracy and consistency in financial models and reports
- Develop and maintain financial models to support planning and forecasting; provide financial insights and analysis to business units
- Conduct market and competitive research to support financial planning and benchmarking
Requirements
- Expert-level skills in Excel
- Preferred experience with SQL
- Working knowledge of financial data including forecasting, reporting, and analysis
- Strong understanding of financial statements and financial data
- Ability to extract key insights from data quickly
- Analytical mindset with curiosity to approach complex problems
- Ability to adapt quickly, manage competing projects, and challenge the status quo
- At least 2 years of experience or education focused on financial planning and analysis
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Accounting/Finance, or a related field
- Must be qualified to work in the United States
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and work on a computer
- Ability to lift up to 5 pounds occasionally
