Overview

An organization is seeking an FP&A Analyst to support their Corporate Headquarters in Columbia, MO. This is a fully remote position with a salary range of $56,000 to $83,000, with final compensation dependent on experience and location.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing the annual budget, periodic forecasts, long-term financial projections, and scenario analyses
  • Analyze financial performance by comparing actual results to budgets and forecasts; conduct variance analysis to identify trends and deviations
  • Prepare periodic financial reports and develop and maintain financial dashboards and key performance indicators
  • Gather financial and operational data ensuring accuracy and consistency in financial models and reports
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support planning and forecasting; provide financial insights and analysis to business units
  • Conduct market and competitive research to support financial planning and benchmarking

Requirements

  • Expert-level skills in Excel
  • Preferred experience with SQL
  • Working knowledge of financial data including forecasting, reporting, and analysis
  • Strong understanding of financial statements and financial data
  • Ability to extract key insights from data quickly
  • Analytical mindset with curiosity to approach complex problems
  • Ability to adapt quickly, manage competing projects, and challenge the status quo
  • At least 2 years of experience or education focused on financial planning and analysis
  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Accounting/Finance, or a related field
  • Must be qualified to work in the United States

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and work on a computer
  • Ability to lift up to 5 pounds occasionally
