Overview
This fully remote position is open to candidates located in any U.S. time zone. The FP&A Analyst on the Medicaid Finance Team supports budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to inform corporate decisions. The role focuses on analyzing SG&A expenses and providing transparency to business partners across Health Plans, Shared Services, and Medicaid/Finance leadership. The analyst translates financial data into visualizations and presentation materials and reports directly to the FP&A Senior Manager within Medicaid Finance.
Responsibilities
- Support financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting of SG&A expenses
- Provide transparency on FTE and vendor spend, including savings initiatives
- Create variance analysis reports and financial models
- Present detailed monthly financial reports to managers
- Ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial reporting
- Escalate financial issues to management as needed
- Assist with day-to-day SG&A deliverables and ad-hoc requests
- Document processes with detailed procedures
- Collaborate with senior members of accounting and finance teams
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
- Minimum 1 year of experience with Hyperion, Oracle, or another ERP platform
- Minimum 1 year of experience with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or equivalent professional experience

- Strong oral and written communication skills across organizational levels, including senior management
- MBA or related advanced degree/certification
Compensation & Benefits
- Typical pay range: $43,888.00 - $85,068.00 annually
- Actual salary offer depends on experience, education, geography, and other factors
- Eligible for bonus, commission, or short-term incentive programs in addition to base pay
