Overview
A well-established luxury travel organization with over 30 years of experience in hosting unique expeditions worldwide is seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst. This role reports to the VP of Finance and serves as a key financial partner to business departments, supporting strategic decision-making and driving growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead the financial rhythm of business (ROB), including annual budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes such as long-range planning.
- Utilize AI tools and technologies to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and enhance decision-making within the FP&A function.
- Develop actionable insights into key business performance drivers and provide forward-looking financial analysis to support strategic decisions.
- Collaborate with Finance and cross-functional business leaders to identify financial risks and opportunities through trend analysis, performance monitoring, and KPI development.
- Lead FP&A reporting for the parent company by consolidating financial results, business insights, and executive-level commentary.
- Partner with the Data & Reporting team to improve FP&A reporting, dashboards, and analytical insights.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Relevant experience in financial planning, financial analysis, or a related business analysis role.
- Proven ability to build strong relationships and influence key stakeholders to drive strategic initiatives.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and evaluate complex data from multiple sources.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing competing priorities and deadlines.
- Highly analytical and detail-oriented with a growth mindset and passion for continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated team player with effective cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, showing initiative, curiosity, and sound judgment.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, capable of communicating complex financial information clearly.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, ERP systems, and AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot and Claude.
Travel Requirements
- Travel to the Seattle office is required during the initial onboarding and training period. Travel and related expenses will be covered.
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive base salary ranging from $80,000 to $95,000.
- Performance-based bonus with a 10% target and up to 20% maximum.
