Overview
This role involves supporting financial planning and analysis (FP&A) functions within a SaaS-focused organization that provides industry-specific software solutions for training, compliance, workforce scheduling, safety management, and more. The position requires a finance professional with strong technical skills, business judgment, and intellectual curiosity to contribute to forecasting, budgeting, and strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting including forecasting, management reporting, and lender/investor reporting.
- Develop business insights across all functions by partnering with leaders to improve decision-making and performance.
- Assist in annual budgeting and continuously monitor performance against budget to help meet or exceed plan metrics.
- Build dynamic financial models to evaluate growth initiatives, investments, and cost optimization opportunities.
- Analyze key SaaS metrics such as ARR, MRR, bookings, churn, retention, CAC, LTV, and gross margin.
- Support private equity reporting requirements and conduct ad hoc performance analyses.
- Maintain data integrity and uphold reporting discipline in a high-performance, accountability-focused environment.
- Enhance reporting automation and financial systems.
- Develop scalable solutions to improve organizational processes.
- Support implementation and optimization of FP&A and business intelligence tools.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, management consulting, or similar roles.
- Experience working in SaaS or recurring revenue business models.
- Advanced financial modeling skills with strong proficiency in Excel.
- Experience with ERP and planning systems such as NetSuite and Adaptive.
- Ability to synthesize complex data into clear, executive-level insights.
- Strong business acumen with a focus on value creation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality and accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in private equity-backed environments.
- Familiarity with SaaS financial metrics and reporting.
