Overview

This role sits within Corporate FP&A and owns the consolidated view of the P&L, including forecasting, the annual plan, and leadership/Board reporting. It is a high-scope individual contributor position with direct exposure to the CFO and Finance leadership, and includes helping rebuild FP&A processes by replacing manual work with AI-assisted workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Own the consolidated monthly and quarterly P&L close process for FP&A, including forecasting, variance analysis, and the narrative explaining what happened
  • Run the annual budgeting cycle end to end, from bottoms-up build through executive review
  • Build management and Board-level reporting, including Board decks, quarterly outlooks, and analysis supporting investor conversations
  • Apply AI and workflow automation to core FP&A processes, replacing manual reporting and reconciliation work with faster, more reliable workflows
  • Collaborate across Business Finance, Strategic Finance, Accounting, and Business Analytics to maintain one consistent view of the numbers
  • Lead ad hoc analyses and scenario modeling for the CFO and leadership team on the questions that matter most each quarter
  • Partner closely with Revenue Forecasting and serve as backup on the revenue and funnel forecast, including the weekly outlook and revenue flash

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in FP&A, investment banking, private equity, or management consulting, with meaningful time spent in a corporate or consolidated finance function
  • Excellent financial modeling skills in Excel and Google Sheets, with the judgment to know when a model should be simple and when it should not
  • Demonstrated experience applying AI tools to real finance workflows, with a point of view on where they help and where they do not
  • Track record of building management and Board-level reporting, including the written narrative that accompanies the numbers
  • Strong written and verbal communication, including experience presenting to senior executives
  • Hands-on experience with EPM and ERP systems such as Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, Pigment, Aleph, Oracle Planning & Business Systems, NetSuite, and SAP
  • Comfort querying data directly (SQL or equivalent) to validate revenue forecasting and funnel inputs without a handoff

Preferred Qualifications

  • Direct experience in consolidated forecasting, budgeting, and executive/Board reporting
  • Experience using AI-assisted approaches to automate reporting and reconciliation workflows
