Home Based Accounting Specialist

Overview

This full-time, home-based Accounting Specialist role supports a growing U.S.-based business. The position focuses on accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and financial reporting, while following client-defined processes to ensure accurate financial records and support overall accounting operations.

Responsibilities

Accounts Payable

• Enter invoices into the designated system and/or QuickBooks
• Prepare weekly check runs based on cash flow

Accounts Receivable

• Invoice clients upon order completion
• Perform collection contacts on a routine basis
• Issue past-due notices and statements
• Complete royalty entry and submissions
• Assist with year-end financial statements
• Ensure efficient and accurate posting of transactions

Other

• Support additional accounting and administrative tasks as assigned by the Executive Team

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• 3–5 years of General Accounting experience or equivalent
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills
• Ability to work overnight/graveyard shifts in Philippine time or within US operating hours
• Proficiency in most Microsoft Office applications, databases, and accounting software
• Strong working knowledge of Excel (including pivot tables and advanced formulas)
• Proficiency using accounting software and tools such as QuickBooks and SAP, or other relevant software
• Ability to build relationships with clients and internal departments
• High accuracy and strong attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) (plus, but not required)

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary Range: PHP 35,000 – 37,500
