Insurance Agency Bookkeeper - REMOTE

Overview

This remote position offers experienced insurance professionals the opportunity to continue their careers from home, providing flexibility with full or part-time schedules. The role focuses on leveraging extensive insurance expertise in a long-term, remote capacity with company benefits.

Responsibilities

• Manage the General Ledger including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Commission Payable.
• Prepare monthly management and producer commission payable reports.
• Reconcile carrier commission statements and resolve accounting discrepancies with insurance carriers and/or producers.
• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements.
• Maintain the budget using Excel and agency management systems.
• Experience with Epic, AMS360, and Sagitta agency management systems is preferred, with high demand for Epic experience.

Requirements

• Minimum of 25 years of full-time work experience.
• At least 10 most recent years of premium accounting experience.
