Overview
A healthcare organization is seeking a full-time Insurance AR Resolution Coordinator to support Third-Party Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) for retail pharmacies. This role involves reviewing, researching, and resolving claims and payment exceptions within assigned third-party accounts to support revenue cycle performance and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Analyze claim and payment exceptions to determine appropriate resolution steps.
- Research claims through payer portals or direct payer outreach using established guidelines.
- Accurately document actions taken and outcomes achieved.
- Escalate issues outside defined procedures with recommendations.
- Maintain regular attendance and meet productivity and quality standards.
- Handle sensitive financial and patient information in compliance with HIPAA and company policies.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage routine, repeatable work accurately.
- Ability to follow documented procedures and guidelines.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills with internal and external partners.
- Ability to work independently within scope and escalate issues appropriately.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- High School Diploma or General Equivalent Development (GED) required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in retail pharmacy, PBM, third-party billing, or healthcare revenue cycle operations.
- Prior experience with collections, accounts receivable, or remittance processing.
- Experience reviewing reports and identifying trends or process gaps.
- Ability to draft clear written instructions or documentation.
- Previous exposure to payer portals, claim research tools, or billing support systems.
- Associates Degree preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
- Typical pay range: $17.00 - $31.30 per hour, depending on experience, education, geography, and other factors.
- Eligible for bonus, commission, or short-term incentive programs in addition to base pay.
