Investment Specialist

Overview

This role is part of a virtual team and involves delivering financial advice and investment solutions to members using digital channels, including telephone and video. Responsibilities include assessing member needs, providing foundational financial planning and investment advice, and supporting portfolio management and review. The position also focuses on member education and using technology to enhance the member experience.

Responsibilities

• Use digital channels, including telephone and video, to deliver financial advice and solutions to members
• Assess member needs and provide a range of investment and deposit solutions, referring members to fellow specialists as appropriate
• Deliver foundational financial planning and investment advice, including portfolio management and review
• Focus on member education and demonstration, leveraging technology to support a remarkable member experience
• Provide advice, retain business, and increase wallet share

Requirements

• Post-secondary diploma or degree in a related field and 2 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education/experience
• Completion of a mutual funds course (CSC, IFIC, or equivalent) and maintenance of registration eligibility
• Industry-leading sales ability in growing a book, achieving targets, and building a pipeline using a member-centric approach
