Jr. Healthcare Financial Analyst with CPA Certification (Remote)

Overview

This role involves analyzing the systems and finances of multiple hospitals, supporting ongoing reporting, and preparing materials for provider communications.

Responsibilities

• Update the internal dashboard weekly.
• Review data for the MediSys health system (Jamaica and Flushing hospitals), Richmond University Medical Center, St. John's Riverside Hospital, and St. John's Episcopal Hospital.
• Analyze weekly cash flows and monthly performance reports.
• Assess funding needs requests to determine the appropriate amount of funding (if needed) for each assigned hospital.
• Prepare questions for monthly provider calls to fully understand each provider’s current financial situation.
• Prepare notes from monthly provider calls.
• Complete ad-hoc assignments as needed.

Requirements

• 100% Remote.
• 18 Months of Experience in finance conducting fiscal analysis.
• 18 Months of Experience in working with hospitals and reviewing their financial documents.
• 18 Months of Experience in data analysis, working with large sets of data on a routine basis.
• 18 Months of Experience in communications, conducting calls/drafting emails to various outside parties.
• 6 Months of Experience in documentation during WebEx calls with providers.
• CPA Certification.
• ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) Certification.
• Master’s Degree in Data Analysis or Business Analytics.
• 4+ Years of experience analyzing an organization or business domain (real or hypothetical) and documenting business processes or systems, assessing the business model or its integration with technology, with distinct deliverables to a solution.
