Junior Accountant

Overview

A financial services organization is seeking an early-career Accountant to join a small finance team in Vienna, VA. This role is mostly remote with occasional visits to the McLean office. The position supports day-to-day accounting operations, including month-end close and audit preparation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and record journal entries
• Process ACH and wire transactions
• Reconcile accounts
• Assist with month-end close activities
• Support audit preparation

Requirements

• Local to the DMV area (must be local)
• Bachelor in Accounting or Finance
• Excellent communication skills to interact with investors

Preferred Qualifications

• Genuine interest in Venture Capital
• Advanced Excel experience
• Exposure to an ERP system

Compensation & Benefits

• $70–80K
