Junior Accountant

Overview

This role involves providing analytical and administrative support for financial reviews, reconciliations, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Support reviews and reconciliations of financial data
• Assist with documentation related to accounting and auditing processes
• Perform data analysis with attention to detail
• Maintain documentation sufficient for Federal review

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting, auditing, or financial analysis
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial statement analysis
• Familiarity with Federal cost principles or willingness to learn 2 CFR Part 200 requirements
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools
• Ability to work effectively in a high-volume, time-sensitive environment
• Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearance or credentials necessary for the role
