Overview
A financial services organization is seeking a Lead Private Placement Analyst to join their team. This role supports financial strategy, forecasting, and performance management initiatives to enhance business visibility and decision-making. The position involves partnering with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to improve planning processes, financial discipline, controls, and resource allocation within a regulated financial services environment.
Location: Remote (US-based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available)
Compensation: $150,000 – $200,000 annually
Responsibilities
- Originate and monitor domestic and foreign corporate and securitized private placements
- Underwrite new investments
- Provide relative value assessments of investment opportunities
- Conduct ongoing portfolio monitoring
- Research and compile portfolio presentations for clients
- Develop and maintain relationships with agent banks in the syndicated market
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field
- Seven or more years of private placement experience or a similar analytical role
- Strong analytical, structuring, and negotiating skills
- Effective communication skills
- Creative and independent problem-solving abilities
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Corporate finance expertise
- Experience with securitized private placements
- Familiarity with portfolio management tools
- CFA or MBA credentials (preferred)
- Knowledge of capital market tools and financial modeling software
- Experience with risk assessment and data visualization tools
- Proficiency in client relationship management (CRM) systems
