Manager

Overview

This role supports the Accounting and Reporting Consulting (ARC) function. The assistant manager will work with clients to provide accounting advisory services, with a focus on applying accounting standards, assisting with financial reporting, and resolving complex accounting issues. The role also involves supporting the broader project team (including MDs/Partner/Associate Directors) with project execution and management.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical accounting assistance to clients on complex accounting issues, including researching accounting topics and preparing technical memos.
• Assist with financial reporting activities, including preparation of financial statements, MD&A, and SEC filings (including registration statements).
• Support engagement management, maintain client relationships, and act as a point of contact for clients.
• Participate in business development activities, including contributing to proposals and go-to-market efforts.
• Stay current on developments in accounting standards and regulations.
• Manage multiple engagements and deadlines concurrently.
• Work effectively in a team environment.
• Identify engagement and client service issues; research and benchmark client data against industry data.

Requirements

• CPA or international equivalent.
• 4–6 years of relevant experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting concepts, including the ability to stay informed of professional standards and apply them to moderately difficult and/or complex client situations.
• Flexibility and willingness to travel on short notice, as necessary.
• Strong domain knowledge.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to operate with both onsite and remote setups with clients/teams spread globally.
• Ability to work under pressure, including stringent deadlines and tough client conditions that may require extended working hours.
• Demonstrated integrity, values, principles, and work ethic.
