Overview

The organization is seeking a Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to lead financial strategy, reporting, and operational excellence. This leadership role involves managing enterprise-wide financial reporting and planning processes, developing and monitoring key growth and performance metrics, and partnering strategically with executive leadership and the Board of Directors. The role also includes overseeing the management and enhancement of financial systems such as Workday Adaptive Planning to support scalable growth and efficient reporting.

Responsibilities

Enterprise Reporting & Consolidation

  • Lead the end-to-end enterprise financial consolidation process across all business units and geographies, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and consistency.
  • Develop, maintain, and automate standardized management and operational reporting to support executive visibility, forecasting accuracy, and decision-making.
  • Drive continuous improvement of reporting processes and analytics to enhance insights and forecasting precision.
  • Collaborate with the Accounting team to align on close processes, reporting timelines, and variance explanations.

Leadership and Board Reporting

  • Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting packages for executive leadership, CEO, and Board of Directors.
  • Develop clear, data-driven narratives and visuals communicating company performance, key trends, and strategic initiatives.
  • Partner with CFO and senior finance leadership to manage Board and investor reporting calendars, including ad-hoc analysis and presentations.
  • Support quarterly business reviews, board meetings, and investor updates by producing dashboards, performance summaries, and strategic priority tracking.

Financial Planning & Strategy

  • Oversee and improve budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes across the enterprise.
  • Establish and monitor key growth metrics, including SaaS performance indicators such as ARR, churn, CAC, and LTV.
  • Provide strategic financial analysis and scenario modeling to guide growth strategies, investment opportunities, and organizational efficiency.
  • Serve as a strategic finance partner to functional leaders, offering actionable insights and financial guidance.

Systems & Process Ownership

  • Lead administration and enhancement of Workday Adaptive Planning and related financial systems, ensuring system integrity, scalability, and integration with ERP and CRM platforms.
  • Develop and implement standardized FP&A processes, reporting templates, and best practices.
  • Drive automation and efficiency in data management and reporting workflows.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Manage and mentor a high-performing FP&A team, fostering professional growth and analytical excellence.
  • Promote a culture of collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement within the finance organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • 7+ years of progressive FP&A experience, ideally within a SaaS or technology-based organization.
  • Proven expertise in financial reporting, consolidation, and planning, including preparing materials for executive leadership and Boards of Directors.
  • Advanced experience with Workday Adaptive Planning or similar tools, with strong understanding of ERP and data integrations.
  • Deep knowledge of SaaS financial metrics, business models, and unit economics.
  • Demonstrated success managing and developing teams in a fast-paced, private equity–backed environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting investor relations, capital planning, or strategic finance initiatives.
  • Exposure to automation and analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or SQL.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate complex financial insights clearly and persuasively.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range for Canada-based candidates: $100,000–$130,000 CAD annually.
  • Salary range for USA-based candidates: $105,000–$140,500 USD annually.
