Manager II, Accounting

Overview

• Fully remote role.
• This role leads the Enterprise Collections team within the Order to Cash function, focused on driving collections performance for a portfolio of enterprise customers while maintaining a strong customer experience.
• Responsibilities include team leadership, handling escalations, and improving operational processes through enhancements, automation, and compliance with governance standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage collections performance for enterprise accounts, balancing cash outcomes with customer experience.
• Provide coaching and performance management for collections team members.
• Lead strategic initiatives to achieve collections targets and align strategies with broader organizational goals.
• Handle escalations and communicate with customers on complex accounts.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve invoicing, contract, and payment issues.
• Drive process improvements and implement automation to enhance efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with policies and SOX controls through periodic reviews.
• Represent the collections function in cross-functional projects.
• Hire, develop, and lead an inclusive, high-performing team.

Requirements

• 5–7+ years of experience in Order-to-Cash, Revenue Operations, Billing, or Shared Services.
• 3–5+ years of supervisory or people management experience.
• Proven ability to achieve team objectives and deliver results through others.
• Strong knowledge of Order-to-Cash and Accounts Receivable processes, including collections and dispute management.
• Effective communication skills for working with cross-functional stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Experience driving process optimization and automation.
• Working knowledge of SOX controls and policy compliance in finance operations.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce and NetSuite or similar CRM and ERP systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AR and Order-to-Cash automation platforms such as HighRadius, Growfin, or Tesorio.
• Familiarity with SAP or Oracle systems.

Compensation & Benefits

• The range of annual base salary varies based on factors including location, knowledge, skills, and experience.
• Eligible for an initial RSU grant without a vesting cliff and ongoing refresh opportunities tied to performance.
