Overview

This role is for an accomplished investment banker, M&A advisor, or business broker to help lead the next phase of growth. The position is full-time and remote.

Responsibilities focus on origination and trusted advisory work, supported by a dedicated execution team of 20+ professionals (US-based, full-time). The ideal candidate brings and expands senior-level relationships within a defined industry vertical and a strong local or regional presence (examples mentioned include industrials with relationships in Chicago or home-services with an established network in Dallas–Fort Worth).

Responsibilities

    • Buy-side M&A
    • Acquisition debt
    • Growth equity
    • Fractional CFO services
    • Quality of earnings
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to owners well before they are ready to sell by identifying the right solution for each stage of their business.
  • Lead business development and client strategy while partnering with execution professionals to deliver exceptional work.
  • Represent the organization in your industry and region through direct outreach, events, thought leadership, and relationship-driven marketing.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to originate and close engagements as an investment banker, M&A advisor, or business broker.
  • Meaningful expertise and strong credibility in a defined industry vertical.
  • An established network within a specific U.S. city, region, or business community.
  • Consultative, long-term approach to relationships (not a purely transactional sales style).
  • Judgment and executive presence to advise founders, family-owned businesses, private equity firms, and senior management teams.
  • Collaborative mindset and commitment to integrity, responsiveness, and client service.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of professionalism and discretion handling confidential information.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience providing advisory and/or execution across sell-side and buy-side M&A, capital raising, quality of earnings, and/or fractional CFO services.
  • Track record of advising lower-middle-market clients with an emphasis on credibility within an industry vertical.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • Unlimited vacation time and accrued paid sick leave
