Net Revenue Consultant

Overview

This role involves developing deep subject matter expertise in hospital and health system operational and financial drivers of net revenue. The position supports healthcare organizations by assisting in financial processes and delivering analytical insights to improve revenue cycle management.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the net revenue month-end close process for core customers
• Support analytical work on one-time engagements or special projects
• Deliver results and insights to customers
• Mentor less experienced team members

Requirements

• Minimum of 1+ years experience in a consulting organization or health system environment
• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required
• Strong analytical skills with experience working with complex financial data sets
• Baseline understanding of cash versus accrual basis of accounting
• Baseline understanding of the interaction between balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA license preferred but not required
• Understanding of healthcare financial accounting and reporting, including reimbursement, month-end close, and net revenue analysis, is preferred but not required
