Overview
This organization is seeking remote Online Adjunct Faculty for Accounting within its Global Campus. The role supports students in a pre-developed online course in an asynchronous, inclusive learning environment. You will report to the faculty dean team.
Remote adjunct opportunities are available in all US States, with the exception of California.
Responsibilities
- Prioritize student engagement: Respond to students within set timeframes, reach out to students needing additional support, and connect students with appropriate resources. Encourage participation, collaboration, and faculty-student relationships to enhance learning.
- Share expertise and resources: Stay current in the accounting field, recommend relevant supplementary materials, and present accessible explanations of complex topics.
- Provide feedback and assessment: Evaluate student work and deliver individualized, constructive feedback within set timeframes to support growth and mastery of course outcomes.
- Facilitate discussions: Encourage student interaction in online discussions while maintaining an inclusive, engaging, respectful environment that supports open dialogue and diverse perspectives.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Accounting from a regionally accredited higher education institution.
- 1 year or more of professional experience in the accounting field.
- CPA preferred (upload certification when applying).
- Doctorate preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
Compensation (standard rates for courses):
- $2,200 per 8-week undergraduate course
- $2,500 per 10-week graduate course
- Actual pay is determined at the time of course assignment based on discipline.
