Overview
This role is for an Operations Analyst - Cost Basis within an Asset Management Trust Tax organization. The position may be remote, requiring work from a quiet, secure, and confidential home workspace approved by the employer. Occasional in-office participation may be necessary based on business needs. This role involves manual account updates within strict Service Level Agreements (SLA) to meet IRS requirements.
Responsibilities
- Execute routine transactions and processes of varying risk and financial value following standard policies and procedures.
- Handle specialized product or functional area responsibilities.
- Identify and escalate exceptions; collaborate internally to route calls, documents, or action items to complete transactions.
- May interact with external customers to complete transactions.
- Ensure availability of appropriate materials and documentation to complete transactions; confirm operational status of equipment if applicable.
- Respond to inquiries and ad hoc requests related to specialized products or functions.
- Provide feedback on workflow and work received.
- Participate in process improvement projects.
- Assist in training and onboarding new hires.
- Review transactions and related documents to verify accuracy and compliance with service levels and policies.
- Participate in risk mitigation activities and monitor quality and compliance through reports.

- Preparation of various documents using proprietary software.

Qualifications
- Typically less than 1 year of related experience.
- No university or college degree required; high school diploma or GED preferred.
- A comparable combination of education, job-specific certifications, and experience (including military service) may be considered.
