Overview

This role involves supporting payment workflows and maintaining accurate financial records, primarily focusing on group movement payments as well as payments for transient travelers. The position requires ensuring timely and organized documentation of transactions.

Responsibilities

Payment Processing

  • Process outgoing payments, including invoices and electronic transactions
  • Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and update tracking systems regularly
  • Verify payment details and resolve discrepancies promptly
  • Prepare and organize financial documents, reports, and spreadsheets
  • Monitor payment schedules and follow up on outstanding items

Customer Service

  • Communicate with clients regarding payment status
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedures
  • Perform general clerical duties such as data entry and document management

Vendor Liaison

  • Maintain relationships with hoteliers and other vendors involved in payments
  • Maintain contacts for prompt issue resolution

Internal Collaboration

  • Meet weekly and monthly with the Service Delivery manager to review payment processing
  • Work with team agents on ad-hoc payment requests when a CMC request is made

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the travel industry
  • Strong knowledge of Sabre GDS is required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word and Excel
  • Ability to recognize when to escalate issues to leadership
  • Understanding of key organizational initiatives

The salary range provided complies with pay transparency laws and varies based on factors such as experience, location, and budget. This range applies to U.S. candidates; international candidates' salary will be based on the local market.

This role may be eligible for incentives, commissions, bonuses, or discretionary bonus programs based on financial goal achievement and individual performance.
