Overview

This full-time Payroll Specialist role is remote. The Payroll Specialist assists facility payroll personnel with accurate and timely payroll processing for facility personnel. The position ensures an accurate and timely record of employee information, supports all aspects of the payroll process, maintains a solid audit trail, and produces related reports.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with accurate and timely payroll processing for facility personnel.
  • Maintain an accurate and timely record of employee information.
  • Support all aspects of the payroll process while maintaining a solid audit trail.
  • Perform analysis, reconciliation, and audits of timekeeping and payroll data.
  • Monitor and process wage garnishments, tax liens, child support orders, and required notifications.
  • Ensure accuracy of new hire data and changes processed via the Workforce Management system.
  • Ensure timely processing of leaves of absence and terminations via the Workforce Management system.
  • Handle 401(k) withholding and common benefit withholdings.
  • Process employment verifications, unemployment claims, disability claims, and other payroll/benefits-related documents.
  • Produce related payroll reports as needed.

Requirements

  • 3–4 years of hands-on experience with Time & Attendance administration; UKG Workforce Management knowledge is preferable.
  • 3 years processing payroll; ADP WorkforceNow knowledge is required.
  • Associate degree, or equivalent, relevant work experience.
  • Ability to multi-task, pivot, and be flexible in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, accounting, math, writing, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • UKG Workforce Management knowledge.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay range: $28 - $34 USD (minimum and maximum base pay per hour at the time of posting).
