PEC Consultant - Colabora Investment Professional

Overview

This position provides an opportunity to work closely with founding senior professionals supporting an investment platform focused on private capital, with exposure across transactions, fundraising, and the build-out of a new investment platform.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial modeling and analytical support for transaction-related workstreams
• Prepare presentations, investment materials, and other internal and external documents
• Support fundraising efforts, including fundraising materials, investor research, and fundraising strategy
• Conduct research on institutional investors and maintain investor tracking materials
• Support responses to DDQs, RFPs, and other investor diligence requests
• Perform research on market, sector, and company topics
• Assist with internal policies, procedures, and other institution-building workstreams
• Provide general support to the senior team across strategic, transaction, and fundraising priorities

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, International Development, or a relevant field
• Experience: At least 2 years of professional relevant experience in investment banking, private equity/infrastructure investing, project finance, consulting, or a similar analytical role
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
• Clear writing and presentation skills
• Organized and detail-oriented; able to manage multiple workstreams
• Entrepreneurial and proactive; comfortable taking ownership in an early-stage environment
• Strong interest in infrastructure, private capital, and Latin America

Language

• Oral and written proficiency in English and Spanish required

• Citizenship: Citizen of one of our 48 member countries
• Consanguinity: No family members (up to the fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB, IDB Invest, or IDB Lab
