Overview
This entry-level remote position involves performing billing, correspondence, and scanning activities within a healthcare revenue cycle management environment. The role requires managing client billing, ensuring procedures are billed according to contracts, updating client statements, printing and mailing paper and secondary claims, scanning documents to patient accounts, and reviewing correspondence with appropriate follow-up. The position supports organizational goals and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Manage client billing and ensure procedures are billed according to contracts

- Print and mail all paper and secondary claims
- Scan documents to patient accounts
- Review correspondence and follow up as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience
- Must be inquisitive and open to innovation, including AI, to improve processes and patient/client experiences
- Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship
- Remote work from home with a HIPAA-compliant workspace required
- Willingness and ability to travel to and work onsite at client, temporary, or corporate office locations as business needs require
- CRCR certification required within 6 months of hire
Preferred Qualifications
- 1-2 years of hospital billing experience
- Experience in hospital operations, compliance, and provider relations preferred
- Insurance follow-up experience
- Home health care billing experience
- Experience with Epic software
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, HMO, and managed care
