Point72 Academy Coffee Chats—Class of 2029 (US)

Overview

This role involves registering your interest for an informal “coffee chat” connected to the organization’s investment academy program. The program is focused on building investment talent through hands-on casework, direct mentorship from experienced portfolio managers, and real exposure to how markets work.

Since 2015, the academy has launched over 250 analysts onto the platform [1], and some graduates are now running their own books as portfolio managers.

Who Should Register

Registration is intended for students who are intellectually curious about markets and companies and enjoy digging into how businesses work. Strong communicators, natural leaders, and people with genuine intellectual curiosity tend to thrive.

Eligibility requirements:

• Must be attending an accredited U.S. university
• Expected graduation date between December 2028 and July 2029

Coffee Chat Details

If selected, scheduling details will be provided separately, including timing, location, and next steps.

• Coffee chats will be in person if the organization is visiting your campus
• Otherwise, chats will be virtual over Zoom
• Coffee chats are expected to conclude by the end of the year

What Happens Next

After you submit your information, the recruiting team will review submissions. Due to high demand and limited availability, not every registered student will be invited.

• Coffee chats are not interviews and are not part of a formal application process
• Being invited (or not invited) will not impact eligibility for, or consideration in, any future academy application process
