Overview
This role involves analyzing market dynamics, historical data, and pricing trends to develop reports, pricing levels, and bid responses for Transactional and Dedicated Fleets. The Pricing Analyst is responsible for establishing, maintaining, and analyzing price reference information and making recommendations to Sales and Operations teams.
Responsibilities
- Provide regular and ad hoc pricing analysis and reporting for management.
- Manage the bid process from receipt through internal tender to submission.
- Coordinate proposal development and submission with Sales and Operations teams.
- Collaborate with Operations to provide market rate data to help formulate pricing levels.
- Support program managers with project analysis.
- Download and analyze third-party price information to identify opportunities for optimizing sales and profitability through pricing strategies.
- Perform quarterly analysis of existing transactional data to identify winning strategies and bid response levels by operational personnel.
- Conduct ad hoc analysis on methods to optimize pricing through market and pricing strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business preferred.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Proficiency with MS Office applications.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
