Overview
A rapidly growing third-party logistics company is seeking a Pricing Analyst to support its RFP Pricing Team. This role involves working both independently and collaboratively with the Business Development team to deliver reliable contractual pricing solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a solid work ethic, eagerness to learn, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Responsibilities
- Analyze internal and external market data and trends to execute customer Requests For Partial Pricing (RFPs).
- Manage the entire RFP process including pricing, formatting, quality control, submission, and storage.
- Assist the Business Development team in developing and executing customer strategies.
- Gather and record feedback on all submitted RFPs from the Business Development team.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide customer solutions during the RFP process.
- Address concerns related to the RFP process and work towards effective solutions.
- Work closely with Pricing management on projects and execute assigned directions.
- Provide detailed summaries of work to supervisors.
- Offer detailed recommendations to benefit both customers and the organization.
- Communicate ideas and recommendations to improve technology and work efficiencies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Very organized and detail-oriented approach to work.
- Minimum of 3 years of industry experience preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Working knowledge of Python and SQL preferred.
- Pricing and analyst experience preferred.
- Familiarity with truckload freight markets preferred.
