Overview
This role involves supporting financial analysts by producing financial data and reporting for a cloud infrastructure team on a monthly and quarterly basis. The position includes partnering with analysts to scope and implement system hierarchy and allocation rule changes within a Profit and Cost Management (PCM) system. Collaboration with engineering teams to design and implement new financial data integrations and transformations is also required. Additionally, the role focuses on developing enhancement plans for the current financial system and operational processes to improve efficiency and speed.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end financial allocation and reporting platform (Profitability and Cost Management system), including design, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of allocation logic, hierarchies, and data structures.
- Define and drive a multi-year roadmap for allocation and profitability capabilities, ensuring scalability with business growth and alignment with broader finance and cloud solution priorities.
- Improve month-end and quarter-end processes by identifying opportunities to automate, streamline, and standardize related operations.
- Collaborate closely with technical teams to oversee the allocation system development pipeline by providing clear business requirements, assisting in project prioritization, and coordinating resources and information.
- Lead requirements gathering and delivery for platform enhancements, translating business needs into clear specifications and managing changes through testing and implementation with engineering teams.
- Facilitate system data governance and stakeholder alignment, including preparing materials for leadership reviews, driving discussions, and ensuring timely decisions and follow-through.
- Support finance users with self-service reporting and analysis tools such as Smart View and Oracle Analytics Cloud, including troubleshooting and providing best-practice guidance.
Requirements
- 8+ years of relevant finance or business analytics experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business field preferred.
- Strong experience in data reporting or systems management.
- Experience in business partnering.
- Proficiency with Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as Oracle Analytics Cloud, Microsoft Power BI, or Tableau.
- Hands-on SQL query writing skills preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $84,500 - $178,100 per year (USD), with eligibility for bonus and equity.
