Overview
An organization in the energy sector is seeking an experienced Pricing Analyst to join their AMS Pricing team. This role focuses on managing pricing and quotes for large Industrial Renewable contractors and Distributors in the US and Canada. The position involves collaboration with regional Product Management and Sales teams to maximize market share and ensure competitive pricing strategies.
Responsibilities
- Manage all quotes for Industrial Contractors and Distributors in the US and Canada in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Ensure the sales organization provides accurate competitive insights to offer the best product technology.
- Create monthly and quarterly performance analyses and develop corrective actions with the sales team.
- Evaluate and implement pricing strategies and models based on cost overhead, current business conditions, and competitive market dynamics.
- Conduct research and perform competitive pricing analysis, monitoring the ongoing competitive environment.
- Project the impact of pricing changes, promotions, and rebate programs on revenue.
- Ensure pricing alignment to avoid preferential pricing for any customer.
- Drive pricing process improvements to facilitate ease of business.
- Participate in the annual price change cycle.
- Serve as a backup for other Pricing Analysts on the team.
Key Performance Measurements
- On-time performance for quote submissions.
- Market share gain and margin improvement (in USD).
- Price gains.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience.
- Preferably from Commercial and Industrial industry backgrounds.
- Strong communication skills with a commercial mindset.
- Previous experience in a similar function such as Finance or Customer Service.
- Experience working in a global, matrixed organization.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to hold other functions accountable regardless of hierarchy.
- High level of written and verbal communication skills in English; Spanish and/or Portuguese is a strong plus.
- Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment.
- Experience with MS SharePoint.
- SAP experience is required.
- Advanced Excel skills are a must.

Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive base salary ranging from $63,900 to $79,800, subject to change based on location and candidate experience.
- Total compensation includes base salary, incentives, and benefits.
