Remote Finance Project Manager

Overview

The organization is seeking an experienced Finance Project Manager to provide oversight of financial and procurement services for a large Federal agency initiative.

This role involves managing processing workflows in the Office of Financial and Procurement Services, with frequent coordination with Government Case Managers and other DOJ agency staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee financial and procurement services.
• Oversee processing workflows within the Office of Financial and Procurement Services.
• Maintain frequent contact with Government Case Managers and other DOJ agency staff.
• Oversee a small team of financial analysts.
• Serve in an active quality assurance capacity to help ensure high-quality work delivered on time.
• Train staff on entering and updating data in proprietary databases.

Requirements

• At least four years of progressively more responsible supervisory and management experience in financial systems.
• Demonstrated ability to manage numerous complex and time-critical support activities simultaneously.
• Expert knowledge of Finance Systems including SAS.
• Outstanding writing skills.
• Excellent management skills.
• Knowledge of the Government's data processing environment in which the work is to be performed, including:
  • Office automation networks
  • PC-based databases and other applications
  • Internet and server-based databases and other applications
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must be able to obtain a Public Trust security clearance.
• Must have an undergraduate degree.
