REMOTE - Senior Tax Manager - Private Client Services

Overview

This remote position offers an opportunity for a Senior Tax Manager to engage in strategic, integrated tax planning for sophisticated high-net-worth (HNW) clients. The role focuses on advisory and relationship building rather than solely tax compliance, within a fast-growing private client tax advisory firm.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive, year-round tax strategy and advisory services to HNW individuals, families, founders, tech executives, fund managers, real estate investors, and owner-operated businesses.
• Manage complex, multi-layered tax needs with deep technical expertise.
• Utilize modern technology and AI-driven workflows to enhance tax planning efficiency.
• Build and maintain genuine client relationships.
• Collaborate in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment with opportunities for rapid career growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field.
• CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or EA (Enrolled Agent) certification.
• Minimum of 5 years of tax experience at a Top 100 CPA firm.
• Expertise in handling tax matters for high-net-worth individuals, closely held businesses, and passthrough entities.
• Experience with CCH Axcess tax software.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Taxation.
• Strong technical knowledge of foreign tax filings (e.g., Forms 5471, 8865).
• Experience with Qualified Small Business Stock (QSBS) tax issues.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $140,000 - $170,000 per year.
