REMOTE: Senior Tax Manager/Tax Manager (Up to $190k)

Overview

A nationally expanding CPA firm is seeking a Remote Senior Tax Manager or Tax Manager to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to serve as a trusted advisor to business owners, closely held companies, and individuals, providing tax planning, strategy, and compliance services. The position supports professional growth and leadership within a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and review a sophisticated portfolio of tax returns for individuals, businesses, and related entities
• Provide proactive tax planning and advisory services beyond compliance
• Support, mentor, and develop junior team members
• Contribute to a collaborative, high-performance culture
• Partner with firm leadership on strategic initiatives and client growth opportunities

Requirements

• 5-10+ years of public accounting experience
• Strong communication skills and ability to build lasting client relationships
• Comfortable working fully remote in a paperless, high-accountability environment
• CPA or EA preferred

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $130,000 – $190,000+
• Fully remote position (must be located in the U.S.)
• Balanced work hours with busy season approximately 50-55 hours per week and flexibility year-round
• High-trust environment with autonomy and no micromanagement
