Overview

A boutique Accounting & Advisory firm is seeking a Remote Tax Manager or Senior Tax Manager to join their growing team. The firm specializes in providing streamlined Tax and Client Accounting Services primarily for start-ups, entrepreneurs, and small businesses across the United States. The team operates in a highly collaborative and flexible environment with a strong emphasis on work-life balance. This is a 100% remote position, with team members primarily located across the East Coast and Midwest regions.

Responsibilities

• Manage, review, and oversee Tax Staff on client engagements
• Provide tax leadership and client-facing services to small business clients
• Collaborate directly with Tax Partners and contribute to process improvements

Requirements

• Must be based in the U.S.
• Active CPA license (EA candidates will also be considered)
• Minimum 5-7+ years of Public Accounting and Tax experience
• Proven experience managing tax staff and engagements
• Strong expertise in small business tax returns (Forms 1120S, 1065, 1040)
• Experience with UltraTax software is strongly preferred
