The role partners with internal teams, carriers, and TPA partners to move files through financial closeout. It also requires strong remote file-queue ownership, organization, and clear, firm communication with field offices and outside partners.

  • Coordinate billing to align with approved or requested funds.
  • Identify approved work that has not been invoiced or paid.
  • Review TPA deductions, program fees, credits, and payment calculations for accuracy.
  • Identify billing timing issues that create payment delays or collection risk.
  • Flag program repairs, private repairs, or change orders that have been processed incorrectly.
  • Request revenue credits, invoice corrections, and forecast updates as needed.

Payment Tracking & Closeout

  • Track payment movement from carrier or TPA through receipt by the organization.
  • Work with carriers, adjusters, clients, and customers to resolve approvals, payment delays, and funding status.
  • Confirm financial and program requirements are complete before file closeout.

Cross-Team Correction & Escalation

  • Work with CORE, Program Administrators, Project Directors, Regional and Office Managers, Billing, and Finance to correct workflow gaps.
  • Coach offices on file updates, documentation, and draw requirements.
  • Escalate recurring compliance or workflow failures that contribute to aged AR.
  • Attend monthly Admin Program meetings and required training to stay current on program changes.

Special Projects

  • Research unclaimed property by state and legal entity and support claim filings.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the manager.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in restoration, insurance claims, construction billing, or accounts receivable.
  • Working knowledge of MRP/TPA program requirements, draws, and payment flows.
  • Ability to read estimates, supplements, and change orders and spot what blocks payment.
  • Experience working with carriers, adjusters, and TPA portals.
  • Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills for tracking and reporting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience providing cross-functional coaching or corrective training related to compliance, documentation, and billing.
