The organization is seeking, starting immediately, a Sachbearbeiter Abrechnung Logistik & Transport (w/m/d) at its subsidiary Pohl & Co. GmbH in Hamburg.

The team operates logistics locations in Germany and the Netherlands, including container terminals, transshipment ports, and logistics hubs. Resource-efficient transport by inland vessels, freight trains, and trucks supports a sustainable and efficient flow of goods across the supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Handle billing of business transactions in the areas of transport, warehousing (insertion and removal), as well as storage and stand fees, ensuring correct and timely processing
• Create, review, and book outgoing and incoming invoices
• Support month-end close, prepare monthly reports, and maintain and analyze statistics and key performance indicators
• Coordinate with internal specialist departments, customers, and external service providers
• Process claims cases, including customer and insurance correspondence, and support warehouse inventory counts

Requirements

• Completed commercial training and ideally professional experience in billing, preferably in the logistics sector
• Confident use of Microsoft Office 365, particularly Excel; SAP knowledge is an advantage
• Structured, careful, and independent working style
• Strong communication skills and enjoyment working in a team
• Good numerical understanding, reliable approach, and a sense of responsibility
