SAP Accounts Payable & Financial Operations Lead (17533)

Overview

An organization is seeking an SAP Accounts Payable & Financial Operations Lead for a 12-month federal remote project. This role supports a major enterprise financial transformation initiative, focusing on accounts payable, financial operations, payment processing, and related financial management processes within an SAP S/4HANA environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounts payable and financial operations process transformation initiatives
• Support SAP S/4HANA financial modernization and optimization activities
• Conduct stakeholder workshops, requirements gathering, and process design sessions
• Develop functional recommendations, solution designs, and process improvements
• Support testing, deployment, training, and change management activities
• Collaborate closely with finance, accounting, and business stakeholders
• Ensure solutions align with financial controls, compliance requirements, and business objectives

Requirements

• 8+ years of ERP consulting experience
• 2+ years of SAP S/4HANA experience (required)
• Public sector financial management experience
• Strong SAP Financial Accounting (FI) expertise
• Extensive Accounts Payable (AP) knowledge
• Experience leading functional workstreams and stakeholder engagements
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Experience working within Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies
• Public Trust Security Clearance (lowest level of federal background screening, including form completion)

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly rate plus expenses reimbursed
• Engagement aligned as W2 or C2C

Location

• Remote within the United States (must be US-based)
• Occasional travel to Washington, DC required

Duration
